Tasting

Christian Dematté, CSA., the international well known photografer presented his pictures of scotland´s nature and wildlife this day in the museum. He told stories about the history of the pictures and how they developed.

The rarity tasting started at 21.00 in the museum and for the small amount of EUR 10,00 per shot there was the possibility to taste rare whisky´s such an Ardbeg 1964 from GM, the old 15yo Springbank bottling with the black label, the 1972 Glenflagler from Signatory or many others. There were 20 different bottlings and Giuseppe brought with him a Macallan Special Reserve from 1985 which was sold for EUR 30,00 a shot. It is maybe the best Macallan we ever tasted although Macallan is absolutely not my favourite. The highlight at this evening was a Macallan 1937 from GM.
